As the writer ( and co-producer) of the 2 songs on this recording, a few corrections needed: the singers on this first recording by (Cleveland’s) The Fabulous Flames are David McFadden ( Not McPhatter) , Otis Carter, James “J.C.” Tatum, Ernest Smith, and Harvey Hall.
Richard Fisher ( whom I never met) may have joined the group later.
I first recorded them ( Acapella) at Tom Boddie’s basement studio and used the acetate as a demo.
