• From an unknown source, I found this note from Ron Jones I had in my files:

“This song was recorded by myself the the C Notes in Chicago, March 1963. I’ve been told I may have been the first white artist to record with an all black backup group. They were real mellow and we had a great time putting down the tracks. Recorded in three channel stereo. The record sold well in Chicago with very little airplay. It wasn’t a song I really wanted to do, but due to being under contract I went ahead and recorded.
