Bernie Williams (& Group) – Don’t Tease Me/ Why Fool Yourself, ’55 (Imperial 5360)

Both songs were written by D. Bartholomew of The Hawks Group and have his New Orleans sound.

A few sources list the BB as (The Scrubs-uncredited), which by some error/misprint/intent were The Hawks.  The Scrubs (Dave Collins) are credited on the Imperial 5294 for two different titles.  See Marv Goldberg’s history of The Hawks and D Bartholomew.

Is Bernie Williams the Bernard Williams of the Philadelphia Blue Notes as some references claim?
