Cordells (NY Label) – Believe In Me/ Please Don’t Go, ’58 (Bullseye 1017) (RCS Directory locates label in New York with artists from various locations.  While some sources include the Bullseye releases as part of the Young & Ellis Cordells, biographies for both artists indicate they did not record as the Cordells until 1962 for the Bargain label.)

 

 

Cordells (Philadelphia) – Laid Off/ The Beat Of My Heart, ’62 (Bargain 5004) (Group members include drummer Earl Young who moved on to the Volcanos and Jimmy Ellis who became part of the Trammps.  Jimmy Ellis (the Elvis sound-alike who formed ‘Orion’) is a different artist than the Trammps Jimmy Ellis.)
