Barons (New York) as Buddies – I Stole Your Heart/ I Waited, ’55 (Glory 230)

As/Marv Goldberg, Larry Harrison (formerly of the Four Buddies on Savoy) formed a new group (The Barons on Decca) along with Roger Wainwright, Luther Dixon and Danny Ferguson.  As the Buddies in 1955, they recorded for the Glory label with Maurice Hicks replacing Danny Ferguson.

Taylor and Johnny Cox.  The book listed in error as part of Detroit Group.  On http://thatsallritemama.blogspot.com/2011/11/barons-on-key.html there is some confusion with Johnny Cox being involved with ‘Black Slacks’ (1957 charts) by the Sparkletones or maybe its meant that his involvement is at a later time with the group.)

Barrons (PA White Group) – Song Of Songs/ Brigitte, ’59 (Whitehall 30008) (Book listed as Barons (5)  Scans were found as Barrons.  There is a scan for Song Of Song on KRCO 101 which is reported to be the first release.)
